I had steak fajita salad. $9. Great slices of medium-rare steak, 1/2 of a small avacado sliced, ripe, good. Enjoyed draft beer. My friend had beef on crsipy taco and enjoyed the rice and beans $6.50. The chips served when we sat were warm, crispy, not salty, and good. I would definitely recommend it to friends. Off the beaten path by only 1/2 a mile.

My friend and I had a great time visiting this restaurant! We came for lunch. The restaurant had previously been a cuban restaurant that was leased by a different family. Now it is open year-round with fantastic Mexican food, by people who have been in the restaurant business for 20 years! The service and food was awesome, and being local, I've tried everything. Loved the seasoned fresh chips, salsa and queso. My friend had chicken tacos and they were really yummy, and my quesadilla was out of this world good and humongous.
I loved the decorating of the place as well. It's mexican meets the mountains for sure. A great place to visit going to or from Ober Gatlinburg. Can't wait to have it apres ski in the winter.
We Had Fun

We had fun visiting in Gatlinburg and loved the food--especially the homemade chips and salsa served with each meal. Everyone should try Las Ositas if they visit Gatlinburg TN.
